Education Session: In March 2021, FujiFilm Diosynth Biotechnologies announced a $2B manufacturing site in Holly Springs, NC. When it opens in 2025, the facility will develop, produce, package and ship medicines approved by the Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory bodies throughout the U.S. and the world. The 725 high-quality jobs will include those for scientists, quality control workers and supply chain experts. The Holly Springs facility will be the largest cell culture CDMO biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in North America, built with sustainability at its core. Please join us to hear from Matt Kuntz, ESG and Sustainability Project Manager, and Sarah Gaskill, Head of Sustainability and ESG for FujiFilm Diosynth Biotechnologies. Matt and Sarah are excited to share insight on the sustainability journey FujiFilm Diosynth Biotechnologies is embarking on in Holly Springs.   Following the education session, meet the ISPA-CaSA 2021-22 Board of Directors and learn about volunteer opportunities with the Chapter's committees, while enjoying an Oktoberfest-themed reception with your industry colleagues. Enjoy tasty hors d'oeuvres paired with a selection of Tobacco Wood's own craft beers, and wine. Each attendee will receive 2 complimentary beverage tickets.
