Women in Pharma Committee
ISPE Women in Pharma® (WIP) provides women in the pharmaceutical industry a forum for connecting and collaborating on technical and career advancement topics. WIP’s inclusive community leverages a network of mentors, roles, models, and resources across all levels to foster balanced professional success.
Based on WIP’s four pillars (Personal Growth, Professional Growth, Social Impact, and Shaping the Future of Pharma), this Committee’s activities center around organizing and presenting personal and professional development and networking events.
The Chapter’s members value giving back to the community, enhancing educational opportunities, and getting to know one another in a casual, relaxed environment. We’ve designed and presented several exciting educational and social events, including:
- A Networking Bingo night combined fun and fundraising and had a fantastic turnout.
- A Drive Shack event gave attendees an opportunity to hit some golf balls while making new social connections.
- An end-of-year Holiday Bash gave members a chance to dress up for the season, network with other members, and claim bragging rights for the next year via Team Trivia.
- A WIP panel discussion at the ISPE-CaSA Chapter’s Annual Life Sciences and Technology Show on Overcoming Burnout combined education and networking and drew hundreds of attendees.
This Committee meets monthly to brainstorm new ideas, stay on track in planning activities for upcoming events, and ensure we have volunteers at all events. Whether you’d like to share your knowledge, grow your skills or learn new ones—or are new to our industry and want to meet like-minded others—there are a variety of opportunities to get involved with this Committee.
