The ISPE-CaSA Chapter is dedicated to helping equip our student and young professional members with tools, knowledge, resources, and training to support their success in all areas of our industry, including:
- Engineering (chemical, industrial, mechanical, electronic or electrical, civil, process, and environmental)
- Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Life Sciences (biology, microbiology, chemistry, and biochemistry)
- Architecture, Construction, and Design
- Computer Science and Engineering
The CaSA Chapter offers a variety of opportunities to help you set your career in motion, including social and educational events tailored to your needs. Examples of educational events have included panel discussions that offer advice and “lessons learned” from industry veterans and workshops that address a variety of topics. Examples include resume development and job interviewing skills, and social and networking opportunities have included themed activities such as billiards and trivia.
In addition, the ISPE-CaSA Chapter established a scholarship fund in 2015 to support students seeking a career in the life sciences industry. The ISPE-CaSA Jane Brown Scholarship is awarded to one or more eligible CaSA Student Chapter members. It is open to those enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate field of study at an accredited university or college.
