The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering – Carolina South Atlantic Chapter (ISPE-CaSA) has proudly announced a $100,000 scholarship endowment to North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in support of students pursuing careers in the life sciences industry. This generous contribution reflects ISPE-CaSA’s ongoing commitment to fostering the next generation of industry leaders.
ISPE-CaSA has actively supported students in NCCU’s Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE) program since its launch in 2007.
“ISPE-CaSA is proud to continue our long-term partnership with NCCU through this endowment. The dedication of NCCU’s faculty has been instrumental in connecting students with professional opportunities in the industry,” said Chris Smith, ISPE-CaSA President and Director of Client Services at GXP Storage, LLC. “Their commitment, alongside the support of the BRITE program, ISPE-CaSA, and NCCU alumni, has strengthened these partnerships and created lasting benefits for students.”
The announcement was made at ISPE-CaSA’s 32nd Annual Tech Show in Raleigh, N.C., on February 25, 2025. The event gathered together nearly 3,000 pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences professionals to drive innovation and celebrate excellence in the industry.
ISPE-CaSA is honored to contribute to the development of future life sciences professionals and looks forward to witnessing the impact of this endowment for years to come.
