Dawn James is a Senior Associate Scientist in Process Development at Alphazyme, where she leads the development, optimization, and scale-up of recombinant enzyme technologies for research and commercial applications.

Since joining Alphazyme in 2020, she has contributed to multiple enzyme development programs encompassing expression, purification, characterization, and process development, with a particular focus on RNA therapeutics and molecular biology tools. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Biotechnology. She is passionate about translating innovative research into robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
